Running

I have been running at least one mile a day since the first day of 2020. Initially, it started as a joint New Year's Resolution with my brother. We wanted to make it a whole year running every day. However, when I made it a year, I didn't want to stop and give up my streak. I have been going 3.5 years strong now. After college, one of my bucket list goals is to run a marathon, and one day, hopefully the Boston Marathon.

Camping

I've been going camping with my family since I was very young. It started with my parents setting up a tent in our back yard one year. However, as I got older, we started going camping at various sites in Maine. Eventually, we picked one campground, in Waterford, and went there every Labor Day for half a decade with two other families. I might be too old to go on the coming trip now, but another one of the items on my bucket list is to visit all the National Parks and camp in as many as possible.

NYT Daily Mini Crossword

The New York Times mini crossword puzzle is one of my favorite things to do every day. I feel it keeps my mind sharp and that sometimes I even learn something new. I also have various friends and family added on the app that I like to race against, specifically my youngest brother. Along with the crossword, I also still like to do the Wordle.

Green Bay Packers

I have been a die-hard Packers fan my entire life. My mom and her entire side of the family are from Wisconsin, and besides my mom and her brother, they all still live there. In Wisconsin, there is nothing more serious than Packers football, and I was indoctrinated at a young age. I have gone to two games in my life against the Texans and the Panthers. We won both. I have also been to Lambeau Field twice for training camp. I hope to be able to attend the draft at Lambeau in 2025.

Lacrosse

If it's not clear by now, it may never be -lacrosse has meant everything to my life. I hope to be involve with the game in some way or another until the day I die. I started playing the game for the first time in 2nd grade and have never looked back. Most of my best memories revolve around the sports. All my best friends I have met through the sport. It is everything I love: competitive, very fast, physical, loud, played outdoors, and team oriented.

Values

Family

My family is the most important thing to me in the world. My younger brothers are my best friends, and my parents are my role models. Throughout my life, I have been very fortunate to do many fun things with them and I have spent so much time with all of them. Even as I got older, I never drifted away from any them. I hope to live in the same vicinity as my family after college, maybe Boston.

Respect, empathy, and being an open minded person are three of my major values. No matter who I am interacting, I try to be attentive, hear their opinions, and understand why they think that way. I have found that you can learn a lot this way, both about people and about the topics they care about.

The Environment

As Ive mentioned a few times throughout my story, a lot of what I liked to do goes on outside. The outdoors is beautiful, it presents life and opportunity, and it makes me happy. That's why I care a ton about the state of the environment and how people treat it. We all need to do a better job in preserving it for ourselves and for who comes next, not even mentioning all the other plants and animals that call Earth home too.

My final value is simple and a way to live live. Do what you love to do. Life is short. Time is your most valuable asset, and the only thing you will never be able to get more of. Make the most of it because if you don't you'll be filled with so much regret at the end.
